Check the goods lines instead of typing them

Forward a shipment's invoice and packing list to docs@freightparse.com from your work address. The goods lines of the customs declaration come back in the same e-mail thread, usually within 5 minutes, as Excel and CSV for your declaration software, with the page and the printed text behind every value.

Forward one shipment's e-mail todocs@freightparse.com

From your work address, with the invoice and packing list as PDFs. In the first reply you accept the trial terms with one button; then that shipment is read, and the goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes. No reply within 10 minutes? Check your junk folder, or write to danil@freightparse.com. Free for 14 days, about 20 pages a day.

Rather accept the terms before you send anything? Use the button above. Or upload in your browser (read in the cloud), or ask a question first.

The file you get for your declaration software: Riege Scope, Stratech Shipment, Beurtvaartadres ShipmentManager, StreamLiner, Fiton, Customs4trade CAS or any other.

Re: Fwd: Invoice and packing list

Attached: lines.xlsx and lines.csv (the import file), items.csv (the goods items) and report.txt. Also attached: lines_sources.csv, which gives for each value the document, the page and the text as printed there.

The reply's own wording. The line is line 1 of a public test document, an invoice with its packing list from a US court record, as the reader returned it on 10 October 2026; the weights come from the packing list on page 3. The commodity code is the US one the invoice prints. See it for yourself, nothing to send: the document (PDF, 4 pages) and the lines.csv written from it.

No shipment to hand? Try three public invoices

Three real invoices from public US court records, so no client of yours is in them. Download one or all three and forward them to docs@freightparse.com; for these three the test page is not needed. The goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes.

Measured on documents it had never seen

20 invoices and packing lists from 20 suppliers, scored strictly against an answer key: to the cent, to the gram, the full commodity code. 97.5% of goods-line fields right, under 1% wrong; the rest left empty and marked for a person.

Accuracy test, one run of the reader in use since 10 October 2026, scored strictly against an answer key fixed before the first reading. How it was tested

The reader in use on 8 October got 93.8 to 97.3% over three runs. With a fix made after the test (a weight given in pounds turned into kilograms), the same answers score 99.2%; that figure was not part of the test.

Every value comes with the page and the text it was read from, so checking is looking, not searching. On a scan you look at the page yourself; on a text PDF the match is checked for you.

Where it was wrong, it said where to look

All 5 wrong values in the test are on one faded fax, where a 4 prints like a 1. This is one of them. The answer key has 149.60. The reader wrote 119.6, and the sources file pointed at the page and the text to check.

How the e-mail test works

  1. Forward a shipment

From your work address, forward the shipment's e-mail with the invoice and packing list as PDFs to docs@freightparse.com. Scans are fine. A bill of lading or CMR in the same e-mail is read by our own software and not sent to Google.

  2. Accept the terms with one button

The first reply asks you to accept the trial terms, with one button. Then that shipment is read, and the address stays open for your domain for 14 days. Free mail addresses such as Gmail do not work: the address opens for your company's domain. No reply within 10 minutes? Check your junk folder, or write to danil@freightparse.com.

  3. Check and import

The goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes, with the page and text behind each value. Your declarant checks every value, imports and files as always. A document the service cannot read is held, and Danil Sysenko answers it himself.

Forward one shipment's e-mail todocs@freightparse.com

What that means on a 30-line invoice

A goods line has eight values to type: description, commodity code, origin, quantity, packages, net and gross weight, value. A 30-line invoice is 240 of them. If FreightParse reads 97.5% right, as in the test, you still check all 240 against the page, and you type about 6.

Arithmetic: 30 lines x 8 values = 240; 2.5% of 240 = 6. It is not a measured time saving.

In the layout of your declaration software

By e-mail the goods lines come back as Excel and CSV, with the declaration's data elements as column names. The file in your software's own layout is set up with you once. What is proven differs per product, and each page says it plainly.

SoftwareWhat FreightParse writes for it
Riege ScopeExcel or CSV for Scope's item import (module C89)
Stratech ShipmentThe import dossier request, checked against Stratech's published field table
Beurtvaartadres ShipmentManagerThe same import dossier request as Stratech Shipment
StreamLinerYour layout, from one example file of yours
FitonYour layout, from the field list of your import
Customs4trade CASThe CustomsShipment document, checked against the published schema
Other softwareAny other: the layout your software imports, from one example file

No desk has imported a FreightParse file into any of these yet; each page says what is proven. FreightParse is not affiliated with any of these vendors.

Prices

Excluding VAT. The price is on this page: no quote, no meeting.

Start by the month

€0.35 a document, minimum €49 a month, which includes the first 140, and you can cancel monthly. A declaration (invoice plus packing list) comes to about €0.70 that way. With more declarations a yearly plan costs less per declaration: €0.33 to €0.41.

For comparison: Digicust publishes pay per use at €10 to €40 a declaration (2 to 8 credits of €5.00), and for that it does more, filing the declaration included. FreightParse and Digicust side by side.

A document is one PDF of up to 5 pages. A declaration is usually two: the invoice and the packing list. The Company plan at 1,000 declarations a month comes to about €0.41 a declaration. Any number of users and PCs.

Local reader, for a desk that may not use any cloud

€1,490 a year for one seat, €490 for each extra PC, €4,900 for the whole company. It reads on your own PC and sends nothing. Text PDFs only, no scans: on simple tables it reads 60 to 90% of the fields, so check every value. The local reader in your browser.

Where your documents go

Read in Google's EU region, not used for training. A request flagged by Google's abuse checks may be kept up to 90 days, in the EU. FreightParse keeps no copy on its server. On the e-mail route, the e-mails are deleted from our mailbox within 30 days.

The data processing agreement comes with the trial. A desk that may not use any cloud can use the local reader instead: text PDFs only.

Questions desks ask

Does a person check the result before it comes back?

No. The result goes back without anyone at FreightParse checking it. Your declarant checks every value, helped by the page and printed text given for each one and the values marked to check. A document the service cannot read is held, and Danil Sysenko answers it himself.

Our declaration software already reads documents.

Then you may not need FreightParse. It is for a desk that still types goods lines from PDFs. If yours still does that for some suppliers, forward one of those shipments and compare.

Where do our documents go?

See where your documents go: the route, how long anything is kept, and the data processing agreement that comes with the trial. A desk that may not use any cloud can use the local reader on its own PC.

Our software needs its own import format.

Send one example of the file your software imports, or just its header row. FreightParse matches each column, a person confirms the mapping once, and every file after that comes out in your layout. Until then the lines come back as Excel and CSV, with the data elements as column names.

Does it file the declaration or choose the commodity code?

No. It reads the commodity code the document prints and never suggests one. Your declarant checks every value and files in your own software, as now.

What about scans?

14 of the 20 test documents were scans, two of them lying sideways or upside down and one a faded fax. All 5 wrong values were on that fax. On a scan the sources file gives the page and the text to look at.

What happens after the 14 days?

The address closes for your domain, and a trial link stops working. To go on, choose a plan from the prices on the front page. Nothing renews by itself, and the trial asks for no payment details.

Who is behind FreightParse?

One person: Danil Sysenko, a sole proprietorship registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce, KvK 42184908, in Rotterdam. The mailbox is read every working day, and questions are answered by e-mail.

Try it on one shipment

Forward one shipment's e-mail and accept the trial terms with one button in the reply. The goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes.
